Minutes of the General Meeting

At 12:30 PM Co-President Renate Kamm called the meeting to order. Due to our special guests Arne and Carlos, announcements were brief: registration has just opened up for our August knitting retreat; members should submit pictures of Show and Share directly to our website this month; donations to Charity and Stash Sale should be made outside our meeting room.
Program Co-Chair Theresa Kotanchek introduced our guest speakers Arne and Carlos. Their talk was rich with photos and stories – of their garden and home in Lilliehammer, Norway; of their transition away from fashion design; of their long relationship with Rowan Yarns; of their celebrity status in their home country; and of their knitting tours to Antarctica and the Arctic. They were delightfully entertaining and personable.
After their presentation Theresa previewed our speakers and workshops for 2024.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:12 PM .
