BE SURE TO CHECK KNITTERS NEWS FOR ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
No pre-meeting clinic in June — The June 3 meeting starts at 11 a.m. for Stash Sale, so there is no pre-meeting clinic in June. Join us again in July for help and socializing.
Other yarn-y things to do — June 13-15 marks the San Diego Craft Collective’s Fiber Fest and the San Diego Yarn Crawl returns September 25-28. Beaders can snag free tickets to the Escondido Bead & Design Show, June 13-15. Of course, that’s in addition to the Guild’s full schedule of presentations, workshops, Summer Retreat, and other attractions!
Doing business at Guild meetings – Regular Guild committee and business tables will be available throughout June’s Stash Sale. During other months, please plan to do all your business (Membership, Programs, Philanthropy, etc.) before or after the formal Guild meeting, which starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends when Show and Share is complete. All stations will be closed during the meeting itself, both in deference to our speakers and to allow Guild volunteers to enjoy the program. Volunteers will have saved seats in the audience. We hope you understand and respect this policy.
End of the La Costa Knitters sub-group — Sadly, the Zoom-only La Costa Knitters sub-group is no longer meeting. The Guild does its best to maintain an up-to-date list of social knitting possibilities; please contact the Webmaster if you know of any additional, open groups.
Membership – If you have not paid for your 2025 membership, the quickest and easiest way to do so is online. If you wish to renew in person, please print and complete a Membership Form and bring it with you to the June 3 meeting.
Show and Share – Find the May Show and Share gallery here. In-person Show and Share will continue at the July 2025 meeting (June 3 is Stash Sale). Save time by completing your form in advance. You can also submit photos of your projects for our Virtual Show and Share gallery. Instructions for submitting are at the bottom of all Show and Share pages. Links to older galleries going back three+ years can be found here.
