Guild Bylaws – The Board recently approved updated Bylaws, now available online. Changes include expanded descriptions of Officer and Chair responsibilities, to help inform potential volunteers. The Members-Teaching-Members position has been removed; help is available during the January Cast-On Party and, resuming in March, at the pre-meeting clinic.
Ravelry – Check out our Ravelry SDNCKG group page where you can find special announcements not available on the Guild website and a link to the Guild’s library on Ravelry. Members can post questions and provide information about non-Guild events (the forum is moderated and inappropriate posts may be edited or removed).
The Guild is on Instagram – The Guild has a social media account on Instagram. Expect to find announcements, reminders, workshop news, and more. If you have an Instagram account, scan the QR code to the right and click the follow button – or search for SanDiegoKnitters while in Instagram.
Guild Library – The Guild has an extensive library full of knitting and crochet pattern books and related resources. It’s easy to check out books and pick them up (and later return them) at in-person Guild meetings. Details here.
Show and Share – The Holiday Luncheon Fashion Show can be found here. If you have a Joji Locatelli-designed garment(s) to share, read this post about sharing them at the January meeting – all are welcome, even if previously shown at a meeting. Our next “normal” in-person Show and Share will be the March 2025 meeting. In the meantime, you can submit photos of your projects for our Virtual Show and Share gallery. Instructions for submitting are at the bottom of all Show and Share pages. Links to older galleries going back three+ years can be found here.
