In Case You Missed It – October 7, 2025, Aimée Gille Visited the Guild via Zoom

In Case You Missed It — OCTOBER 7, 2025, Aimée Gille VISITED THE GUILD via zoom

Aimée Gille – La Bien Aimée Pop-Up ShopAimee Gille Oct 25 Zoom

Aimée Gille’s presentation from her Paris Studio was visually inspiring. Born and raised in Kansas, Aimée has lived in France for 25 years. Her hand-dyed yarns under La Bien Aimée label are available worldwide. Her website and all other links are on the Guild website at this link.

During her presentation she featured over a dozen patterns with sweaters and shawls from other designers made with her yarn. She often showed the designer’s version side-by-side with her own interpretation of the same project. It was interesting to see her adaptations for size, style, and personal color palette. Aimée set up a customized Ravelry bundle with those featured projects so you can take a peek.

Members had submitted questions prior to the meeting and Aimée provided in-depth and thoughtful replies. In response to one, she remarked she had made Stephen West’s Dotted Rays shawl pattern at least 10 times!

Aimée’s presentation made me want to start a new project right away!

— Tania Marshall, Secretary
