About JOJI LOCATELLI
We are excited to have Joji Locatelli visit our Guild virtually! She will present The Story of a Knitter:
“How does a girl from Argentina, whose life path was traced to become a doctor and work at the local hospitals end up all tangled in yarn, sharing her passion for knitting all around the world?
“My name is Joji, and I am a human who knits a lot. I love to knit by myself, but what I love most is to knit with others and show them all this craft can do for them. Knitting is healing, it’s empowering and it’s my way to show and express my love for other humans.
“I’d love to tell you my story. From my early and humble beginnings in Buenos Aires to my present, when I get to share my work and my dreams on a global scale, all thanks to my knitting.”
Workshops
Joji will also teach two virtual workshops:
Wednesday, February 5, 10 am – 12 noon – Workshop 1 – Sweaters That Fit
Wednesday, February 5, 1 pm – 3 pm – Workshop 2 – Yarn Alchemy: Mastering the Art of Selecting Perfect Fibers & Colors
