Why the Change in COst
Your Board has slightly increased the price of our 2024 Holiday Luncheon. This is based on pricing from La Valle Coastal and is not unexpected in today’s climate. The Guild just breaks even on the event itself; all our fund-raising is accomplished through Opportunity Drawing ticket sales.
La Valle Coastal does not charge us rent for the three rooms plus lobby space that we use during the event. This is highly unusual and allows us to have a comfortable event with plenty of room for Fashion Show preparation, Opportunity Drawing layout, and the luncheon service.
As in 2023, there is no surcharge for reserved table seating. Everybody pays the same price.
We have investigated multiple alternate venues but could not find a location with the space and convenience of La Valle Coastal — and every one was more expensive for a table-served meal.
