About Suzanne Nielsen.
Suzanne is an engineer, knitting designer and instructor, fiber industry sales representative, and the new social media manager for ChiaoGoo. Her designs have been commissioned by various yarn companies including Zen Yarn Garden and Jade Sapphire. She approaches designing as a puzzle of how to show off the yarn and comes up with interesting construction and unique techniques. She enjoys teaching all different knitting skills and spreading the love of fiber.
After living in California for almost fifteen years, work took her family to Texas for two years but then gave them a chance to move back to her home state of New Mexico where she has settled down with her husband and son. She loves being close to family with nice weather and access to outdoor activities.
