Vice-President Sydnie Wauson called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM. She introduced Theresa Kotanchek, Program Co-Chair, who introduced our guest speaker Florence Spurling.
Florence is a London-based fashion designer who specializes in hand crafted and embellished textiles. Her talk was on botanically inspired knitwear.
After Florence’s program, the business meeting resumed.
First order of business was to vote on the new slate of officers and chairpersons for 2023-4. The following were unanimously approved.

Two committee chairpersons made announcements.
Colleen Lukoff: Philanthropy. Colleen challenged each member to make at least one article to donate to philanthropy in 2023.
Jeanie Milliken: Stash Sale. June 6th is the date of our next stash sale. Donations are welcomed ASAP. May is a virtual meeting, so best would be to bring donations in by the April meeting. If donating yarn, include as much information as possible. Please separate colors and weights.
Theresa Kotanchek previewed our in-person guest for February. Margaret Holzman will be presenting a program on Geometric Knit Blankets.
Sydnie reminded members that dues need to be submitted by the end of January. On-line payment is now aavailable.
