November Philanthropy News

November 2022 Philanthropy

Happy Fall Knitting! Last month I was happy to receive knitted items from a Guild member and the Closely Knit Group.

Area organizations are specifically requesting hats and scarves of all sizes as well as lap and baby blankets. Please bring knitted items for donation to the Philanthropy table at the Guild meeting on Tuesday, November 1 at the Encinitas Community Center. There will also be patterns and yarn for distribution. Please only add a SDNCKG hang tag, available on the Guild website’s drop-down menu under the Philanthropy tab, click here to download.

If you can’t make the meeting, yet have items to donate, please contact me at PhilanthropyATsandiegoknitersDOTcom to arrange for pick-up.

All Guild members and groups are asked to keep track of their donations and the organizations supported for our 2022 tally of donations made throughout the county.  If all your donations for this year are completed, please send me your tally before the end of the year.
