2022 Holiday Luncheon – Register Now!
updates 10/26/22
Registration forms are available! Be sure to check each form for its unique deadline. There is no vaccination requirement from the Guild for this year’s event (although the venue requires adherence to all current county health department requirements.)
Fashion Show

Enter your finery so we can ooooh and aaaaah at your skills and color choices! All finished objects are welcome, as long as they haven’t previously been shown at an in-person meeting (virtual/online Show and Share entries are accepted). Use the space on the entry form to give us all the details our emcee will need to properly describe the results of your time and talents. Limit two items per member and total number of entries are capped to make sure we have time for all the fun!
Fabulous Opportunity Drawing
Thanks to our vendor sponsors and generous Guild members, we’ll have a wide array of tempting objects for you to try for: from the sock monkey to original wall art, a guided tour of the U.S.S. Midway Museum to fine knitting tools, luscious yarns and project bags galore, beautiful finished objects donated by our skilled knitters, and much more! Bring your cash or check to purchase drawing tickets.

Table Centerpiece
You’ll have to attend to see this year’s table centerpieces, but as usual they include a project bag (custom-made by member Patti Fedler!) full of goodies and a fiber arts-related display piece. Your paid luncheon reservation is your chance to win your table’s collection.
Fun Door Prizes
Last year’s introduction of door prize drawings was a hit and we have even more to give away this year. Your paid luncheon reservation is your ticket for a chance to win one of these desirable gifts (including a second chance at a table centerpiece!).
Volunteers

Your Luncheon Committee has spent many hours making this event shine, but we couldn’t pull it off without the many members and guests who pitch in on the day itself. Volunteers are welcome to reserve a seat (at Open Seating price) at our “head table” while seats are still available. Please contact Sydnie Wauson if you would like to volunteer and if you would like a reserved seat. Bonus drawing gifts are awarded to several lucky volunteers (including an extra chance at a table centerpiece!).
Reserved Table Seating
Thanks to a great suggestion from Karen des Jardins, our reserved table coordinator, we have a new tool to help with reserved table seating needs.
Check the Guild’s forum on Ravelry here if you:
- Need a few people to fill out your reserved table of 10, or
- Would like to have a seat at a reserved table
You’ll find a thread where you can connect with other members who have matching needs. Once you have made contact, please move your discussion to a private message channel (such as email) to keep the Ravelry thread easy for others to use. Remember to edit your Ravelry post if needs change.
Thanks to all the members who help make this an outstanding event – hope to see you there!
