August 2 – Ana Campos Visits the Guild Virtually

June 26, 2022

Read About Our August Speaker, Ana Campos

Ana Campos

Ana Campos was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and now makes her home in Salem, Massachusetts. She is passionate about all things handmade and learned to knit and crochet as a child. Ana brings more than 20 years of knitting experience to her yarn shop, Circle of Stitches, also located in Salem, Massachusetts. She has a line of hand-dyed yarns, Toil & Trouble, and teaches workshops throughout New England. Her focus is on the technical aspects of knitting, and she particularly enjoys teaching Portuguese knitting in honor of her Portuguese ancestors. Ana is fiercely committed to intersectionality and diversity, which she seeks to promote within her own business and is passionate about supporting artists and artisans and values the relationship she builds with every maker she is proud to represent in the shop.

Ana’s patterns can be found on Ravelry here.

Ana will be teaching two workshops:

Wednesday, August 3rd, 10 am – 12 noon – Workshop 1 – Finish Like a Pro: Steeks and Buttonbands

Wednesday, August 3rd, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm – Workshop 2 – Introduction to Portuguese Knitting
