Philanthropy News for June

Latest Philanthropy News

Debbie Vacek

I hope you are settling into a wonderful summer of knitting. Please consider making blankets, scarves, socks, hats, and lap blankets to donate. Projects suitable for babies and teenagers are always in demand.

For your personal philanthropic knitting and distribution to your preferred charities, please keep a running tally so the Guild can count those in the overall year end tally. All items should have a Guild hang tag, available on the Guild website under the Philanthropy tab, or just click here.

Soft acrylic machine washable yarn is ideal for charitable projects. The June 7th Stash Sale is an excellent opportunity to augment your stash of appropriate yarns at a great price. Hope to see you there.

I’m happy to pick up and distribute your finished creations, so please contact me at PhilanthropyATsandiegoknittersDOTcom, or my direct information in your directory to make those arrangements. There will be no in-person Philanthropy meet-up in June.
