Philanthropy News for April

March 29, 2022

Philanthropy News for April

Sweaters

Recent donations from members of baby items included cuddly blankets, sweaters, booties, and hand covers. Those knitted gems were donated to Military Showers of Support, which provides up to 400 baby showers annually to military families stationed in the San Diego area, including Camp Pendleton. These young families are so appreciative of your thoughtful donations, especially since many are far from home.

Please contact me, Debbie Vacek, by e-mail philanthropyATsandiegoknittersDOTcom or phone (I’m in the directory) if you have knitted items you would like to donate so I can arrange to pick them up at your convenience. Please attach only a SDNCKG hang tag to your completed items. The hang tags are available for you to download and print from the Guild website under the Philanthropy tab, or just click here.

Please note – there will be no pick up event at the Solana Beach library in April.

Thank you, thank you for supporting our philanthropic efforts!
