Holiday Luncheon is Happening!

Save the date — December 6, 2021 – and register now for our Guild’s Holiday Luncheon and Fashion Show! As usual, advance registration is required and this article tells you all about it.
First, a serious note. Our Guild wants everybody to feel safe attending this indoor event, so proof of vaccination is required for all attendees. Please read our COVID-19 protocols before you register for the Luncheon.
Now, on to the fun stuff!
We’ll be back at Morgan Run Resort and Club for a day of in-person socializing over a tasty lunch! Get ready for all the Luncheon events you’ve come to love, plus a few new surprises. Our team is working hard to make this the best luncheon since 2019!
We know you are all ready to show off your fabulous creations in the Fashion Show. This year, all finished objects not previously shown at a Luncheon Fashion Show are eligible (whether or not they have been posted in our online Show and Share).
With two years’ worth of creations eligible, we’re capping entries at two per Guild member and 50 total Fashion Show entries. These slots will go fast, so submit your Fashion Show Registration Form soon! You’ll be notified by email when your form is received and either accepted or placed on a waiting list.
Notice that this year’s form includes options for “I’d like to walk in the same group as . . .” or “Please place me in a group separate from . . .” This will help us coordinate models who wish to be grouped or need to walk at different times. The Fashion Show Coordinator will do her best to meet these requests, but results cannot be guaranteed.
Thanks to a growing list of vendors and our fabulous members and sub-groups, we are collecting a wonderful selection of items for the Opportunity Drawing. Please be sure to support our sponsors and let them know you appreciate their generous donations to the San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild.
Opportunity Drawing tickets will be available for purchase at the event using cash, personal check, or a major credit card (with a small surcharge to cover credit card processing fees).
Open Seating and Table registration forms are linked below. Registration is capped at 180 persons. Currently, we have a limit of two guests per Guild member. You will be notified by email when your Registration Form is received and either entered or (if the event has been filled) placed on a waiting list.
Total payment must be made by check payable to SDNCKG, mailed with the registration form along with proofs of vaccination for all names on the form. All forms and payments must be received by November 24 for Open Seating. The deadline for reserved seating with a named table captain, a list of names, menu choices, proofs of vaccination and a single check is November 1st. After November 1st, unreserved tables will be released for open seating. Any changes in names must be submitted by November 24.

- Open Seating: Please see the 10/27/21 Revision for the latest news. Individual Guild members may register non-member guests for open seating. You must submit total payment and proofs of vaccination for all names on the form when registering. This year’s Luncheon is $40 per person for open-seating registration. - Reserved Tables: Seating for 10 is available for $43 per person (surcharge same as prior years). One Guild member must be Table Captain, responsible for submitting the total $430 and proofs of vaccination for all names on the form when registering. Reserved Table Registration Form
- If a paid attendee must cancel for any reason, the Guild will attempt to fill the opening from the waiting list. If the seat can be filled, payment will be returned to the registering member or Table Captain. If the seat cannot be filled, the Guild will retain the payment to help fulfill our monetary guarantee to Morgan Run.
