2021 Philanthropy News for November

October 25, 2021

Happy Thanksgiving!

Donations

It is so wonderful to receive and distribute the beautiful knitted and crocheted hats, blankets, scarves, lap blankets and other projects our Guild members and community donators provide. In October, 132 items were donated to the Emilio Nares Foundation, Rady Children’s Hospital; Volunteer Service, VAMC La Jolla; Chapparal Humanitarian Alliance and Mexican Medical Ministries.

I am sure there are many other groups and individuals doing charitable knitting.  Please share the names of the organizations you are donating to and the number of items.

Please contact me to arrange for pickup of your completed items. I can be reached at philanthropyATsandiegoknittersDOTcom or the directory.  Please send ideas and suggestions.

Thank you.
