Meeting held on Zoom
Vice President Sydnie Wauson called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM. She urged members to stay tuned for the business meeting after the program. A poll was held in preparation of our 25th anniversary meeting in January.
Program Co-Chair Nancy Lerer introduced our guest speaker Susan Lazear. Susan’s program gave many examples of how knitters can take simple shapes and silhouettes and make them unique.
At 2:26 PM Vice President Sydnie Wauson began the business meeting.
Holiday Luncheon: Sydnie announced that since we still have some space available, members may invite more than one guest to the Holiday Luncheon. Covid Protocol will be followed for all attendees.
Stash Sale: Sydnie urged all guild members to consider volunteering to help with our 2022 Stash Sale. Without the income from this fundraiser, the guild might be hard pressed to provide the quality programs that we have become accustomed to.
Program News: Nancy Lerer announced that the 2022 Guild Programs will be announced at the Guild Luncheon on December 6th. Our following meeting on January 3, 2022 will be a celebration of the Guild’s 25thyear, complete with door prizes!
Membership: Nancy Nevin announced that guild members should renew by January 31, 2022 in order to be included in the directory.
Philanthropy: Debbie Vacek will not be collecting donations in November.
Library: Donna Mulcahy has taken possession of our extensive guild library. She will be organizing the materials and once we meet in person again, will make all books available to guild members.
Retreat: Registration is now open for the 2022 winter retreat from January 10 to 13 in Temecula.
Sydnie Wauson adjourned the meeting at 2:37 PM.
