May 7th is the donation deadline.

May’s Guild Meeting is the last opportunity to drop off your donations of anything knitting related–yarn, tools and equipment, finished objects (please suggest a price), unfinished objects, project bags, patterns, books (not magazines), etc. Please keep multiple skeins together when donating to make sorting easier. Magazines can be brought to guild meetings for the “freebie” table.
If you have a large amount of yarn, we can transfer between cars in the temple parking lot if that’s easier. I will accept yarn at my house in Encinitas, located half a mile from the old meeting location. Please contact me StashSale@sandiegoknitters.com to make arrangements. I apologize in advance, but I cannot accommodate picking up yarn from members.
A few more volunteers are needed to help with preparations before and at the sale. Please contact Stash Sale Coordinator Lou Wanna Katz at StashSale@SanDiegoKnitters.com as soon as possible to let me know you can help!! Help is needed for the following:
May 18:
- Sorting, bagging and tagging, etc.
June 4 Sale Day:
- Transport yarn to the temple
- Room set-up and clean-up
- Cashier assistants (to tally for cashiers)
- Roamers to handle questions, hand out extra shopping bags, assist with by the bag table, etc.
Encourage friends and neighbors to come and buy stash at SUPER LOW prices. This is a wonderful way to get yarn at DEEPLY discounted prices and support the Guild at the same time.
Reminder: friends and neighbors need to be brought through the gate with a member – we will be asking them to sign in. If you would like to get their name on the list in advance that would be helpful. Please contact Sydnie Wauson at VicePresident@SanDiegoKnitters.com before June 4th to add their names to the list.
