December 2025 Philanthropy Update

DECEMBER 2025 PHILANTHROPY UPDATE

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Colleen Lukoff and some of your Philanthropy donations

It was very heartening for me to provide 83 scarves and 50 hats plus a few pairs of gloves to our underhoused neighbors this week, especially with all this cold weather. They were distributed at a Fill-a-Belly meal this past Tuesday (November 18). This particular meal was organized by my synagogue Temple Solel (I made 6 dozen rolls plus butter) as an early Thanksgiving meal. Feedback from the guests was exceedingly positive. All the hats and gloves were taken, and all but a handful of scarves.

Philanthropy will accept end-of-year donations at the Holiday Luncheon on December 1. If you have donated items directly to an organization, please let me know so that I can include your work in my annual report of the Guild’s philanthropic achievements.

Thanks for your efforts!

— Colleen Lukoff, Philanthropy Coordinator
