Come Knit on June 13 at the 2026 San Diego County Fair

COME KNIT ON JUNE 13 AT THE 2026 SAN DIEGO COUNTY FAIR

Although no member volunteered to coordinate ongoing Guild activities at the 2026 San Diego County Fair, you can still help represent us!

Several members plan to gather at the Fair on June 13 for Worldwide International Knit in Public Day. It’s an opportunity to show your skills and talk about your craft with Fair attendees. Come join us starting about 11:00 a.m. in the Community Space within the Home Arts & Hobbies exhibits at the Exhibit Hall.

We even have a display board showing various fibers and their animal or plant origins. Renate Kamm assembled the display and knitted the various swatches; Marianne West donated the raw fiber; and Ginger Sabo lent the team inspiration.

Be a part of the Fair and help spread the word about knitting in general and our wonderful Guild! (You will need to arrange your own parking and entry to the Fair; see the Fair’s Plan Your Visit page for information and links.)
