JUST SOME OF PHILANTHROPY’S RECIPIENTS IN 2024

Colleen Lukoff and a small sample of the Philanthrory items our Guild has donated.

The Guild’s Philanthropy outreach supported a number of organizations in 2024. These include:

Gently Hugged provides a large tote bag to low-income families (referred by local social workers or nurses) filled with a variety of items. They like including new or nearly new blankets, baby sweaters, hats, or booties for the little ones, and are entirely volunteer run. They love our items.

Straight From the Heart serves foster families with a thrift store. They also give brand new youth-sized hats and scarves to foster youth (which is what we contribute).

Operation Gratitude serves active-duty service members, as well as veterans and caregivers. Their focus is on service members, who are shipped a personalized box containing a variety of items, including a Handmade with Love hat, scarf, or mini-flyer (which we contribute).

Nana’s ‘Lil Helper provides items as holiday gifts to those in local care facilities. Hats, lap blankets, and scarves are all appreciated.
