Philanthropy 2025 Recap

November 23, 2024

PHILANTHROPY 2025 RECAP

Thank you for continuing to craft for our community members, who are always so appreciative of everything they receive. February is our month to report on the previous year’s Philanthropy efforts at our meeting. Be prepared for some fantastic numbers!! [In the days after the meeting, this article will be updated with Colleen’s presentation — Webmaster.]

Remember — all fibers are welcome. I personally make warm items from natural fibers such as wool, alpaca, silk, or cashmere. Care instructions are provided with each item. It helps if you let me know so I can properly label your gift.

Clean and serviceable items are always welcome. Each is labeled before being given out to appreciative folks. Some people have been giving items they no longer wear that are clean and in good condition. Others have given items they have made but no longer like the colors or the size is wrong. Each is appreciated by a new owner.

Thank you for caring and helping others.
