Myra Wood Visits the Guild in October!
Ever thought to yourself, “I’m just not creative?” or found yourself in a creative slump? Fiber artist extraordinaire Myra Wood will energize us by dispelling myths and rekindling our creative fires at our Guild meeting on Tuesday, October 10, in a presentation called, Living a Creative Life. Even if you don’t think of yourself as an artist or you are just someone who loves needlework but finds yourself stuck in a rut, Myra will get your creative juices flowing again with all kinds of exercises and advice to inspire you creatively. Prepare to have fun!
Myra Wood is an internationally know fiber artist, designer, author and teacher. She teaches a wide range of classes in knitting, crochet, embroidery and beading specializing in all things creative. Myra views knitting, crochet and other handwork as an opportunity for self-expression, a way to discovery and personal growth.Myra is the author of Knit in New Directions, Creative Crochet Lace and Crazy Lace along with an abundance of published patterns in books and magazines. Myra’s been a guest instructor on numerous episodes of knitting shows and will be teaching at Stitches West 2018.
