Homework: In your selected sport-weight yarn, knit a sample swatch to get gauge. Please check that your gauge is 6.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch. For swatch, cast on 20n stitches and work 3 inches in stockinette stitch. The suggested needle size is US 3 (class uses double-pointed needles!).
