Philanthropy Event – Knit-a-Square

Knit a Square with the Guild

Join us for our first Knit-a-Square event in support of our Philanthropy goals. You can start or finish a simple 12” square to be combined with others to make blankets for our charities. Patterns and yarn will be provided, or you can bring your own. There will also be an opportunity for crocheters to use their skills in putting together donated medallions to make one or more beautiful blankets, so crocheters are welcome.

What to Bring

• Needles:  US 7 or 8 needles, either straight or circular.
• Crochet Hooks:  If you plan to crochet, please bring your own hooks in a variety of sizes.
• Notions:  Scissors, stitch markers, tape measure, and whatever else you may need

Yarn:   Will be provided

Cost:    No cost to participate.

RSVP is required. Send an email to Philanthropy Chair Ginny Newton at Philanthropy@sandiegoknitters.com to let us know you will participate.

Parking at the Solana Beach Library. Please park in the lower level parking lot to leave the upper parking lot spaces available for the short-term visitors and physically handicapped library patrons. Parking is NOT allowed on the street during our meeting time.
