Autumn Delights Cowl CLass
Make your projects stand out with modern colorwork motifs! Knit an Autumn Delights Cowl as you build the skills for stranded knitting success.
In this class we will explore the principles of colorwork, basics of color dominance, learn how to read the charts, learn to work with two colors using both hands, learn how to trap your floats as you go and keep them from tangling. By the end of this class you should have a great understanding of how to use these techniques, and be able to utilize them, working on Autumn Delights Cowl project.
The pattern will be gifted to all workshop attendees.
Level of Experience: Adventurous Beginner. Students should have basic knitting skills, including cast on, bind off, experience in knitting in the round.
Materials to bring to class: Two colors DK weight yarn (about 250 yds of each color, recommended yarn Sweet Georgia Yarns Superwash DK). Size US 6, 16″ circular needle. The usual bag of knitting tools (stitch markers, row counter, scissors, etc).
Materials fee: none.
Cost: $30 for members ($55 for non-members which includes Guild membership through 2020)
