April 6 – Virtual Guild General Meeting – Begins at 11:30!

Åsa Tricosa Visits the Guild from Denmark.

Åsa Tricosa will be speaking to the Guild from Denmark where she lives.

Åsa Tricosa will talk about her Ziggurat method of sweater design, which features the following characteristics:
– tailored and top down
– seamless
– simultaneous set-in sleeves
– simultaneous neck shaping
– built-in everything (pockets, button band, seamlessly lined hems)
– absolutely minimal sewing in of ends

If you were knitting from a huge skein with enough yardage for the whole sweater, you would have precisely six ends to weave in at the end.

In addition to talking about the construction of the Ziggurat method, she will include details on how best to use this method to adjust the fit and how to choose the correct size.
