Knit@Nite News – meetings are held via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Contact Tania Marshall directly for specific dates and to receive the Zoom link. As of October, Knit@Nite photos are now included in the monthly Virtual Show and Share.
Volunteers are needed! The San Diego North Coast Knitters Guild runs on volunteers – without membership participation our wonderful Guild cannot survive. The Holiday Luncheon crew has a call out for volunteers to help with the 2021 Holiday Luncheon – read about it here.

Mingei International Museum is reopening! The Mingei is a wonderful museum of arts and crafts, located in Balboa Park. Check it out Mingei.org/whats-on.

Free Quilting Exhibit in Temecula! SDNCKG received a message from the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild: Greetings from your sister guild! I’d like to let your members know about a FREE exhibit coming to the Temecula Valley Museum next month. “Stitchin California” will showcase over 40 art quilts and textile pieces celebrating California. It runs August 29th to October 24th. The Temecula Valley Museum is in Sam Hicks park, which is on the north end of Old Town Temecula. This is a great opportunity to see some quilts and perhaps enjoy lunch in Old Town Temecula.
County Art Museums – Many of our county arts museums have re-opened. Check websites for details.
Visions Art Museum – Visions is a great quilt and textile museum in Liberty Station. While its focus is largely on art quilts, there have been other fiber art exhibits, including lace, knitting, and crochet. Find them on the web at VisionsArtMuseum.org.
The San Diego Museum of Art – Check the San Diego Museum of Art’s website for information and events.
